In February 2019, Universities UK hosted a series of webinars for employers on the 2018 USS valuation.
The objectives of the webinars were to:
- provide further information on the 2018 Technical Provisions consultation, including analysis of the consultation document issued by the USS Trustee
- examine the ‘contingent support’ required by the USS Trustee to meet the lower bookend of contributions
- create an opportunity for employers to raise questions
